About Toronto Pain Psychotherapy

We believe that chronic pain should not mean a lifetime spent enduring symptoms and organizing your life around them.

Founded by Jacqueline Y. Chu, Registered Psychotherapist, Toronto Pain Psychotherapy is grounded in neuroscience, clinical research, depth psychology, and mind-body approaches.

Through psychotherapy, we bring these pieces together to help you reduce or eliminate chronic pain and improve your health.

We draw from the following modalities and schools of thought:

  • Pain Reprocessing Therapy

  • Ericksonian Hypnosis / Psychotherapy

  • Person-Centred

  • Relational

  • Experiential

  • Mindfulness

  • Trauma-Focused Care
